At Dobson Museum & Home, our rotating seasonal exhibits bring Ottawa County’s history to life through carefully curated artifacts, photography, and storytelling. Each quarter introduces a new theme—giving visitors a reason to return, explore, and experience something different throughout the year.

Featuring Independence Day artifacts, Bicentennial memorabilia from 1976, and companion panels from Moments That Made Us, it captures how national milestones are experienced in our own backyard.

Explore a century of change along Route 66 as it runs through Ottawa County. This exhibit features 50 locations captured in “then and now” photography, documenting the evolution of the iconic Mother Road and the communities connected to it.
